Copyright Infringement Notice
Presslink Media acknowledges and values the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to show the same respect. We have a policy to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers or are repeatedly accused of violating the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others, as deemed appropriate by the company.
Presslink Media will address reports of copyright infringement related to its services promptly, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998. The Act can be reviewed on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf. The services provided by Presslink Media include PR distribution, news aggregation, and mobile device applications. Any claims of copyright infringement should be directed to Presslink Media’s Designated Copyright Agent, as outlined below.
If you hold the rights to a copyrighted work, have authority to act on behalf of a copyright owner, or have been granted any exclusive rights under copyright law, please notify Presslink Media’s designated Copyright Agent of any alleged copyright infringements occurring on or through the Services by submitting a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement, as described below. Upon receiving the Notice, Presslink Media will take whatever action it deems appropriate, at its sole discretion, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.
DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement
- Description of Copyrighted Work: Please identify the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are involved, you may provide a representative list of the allegedly infringed works.
- Details of Infringing Material: Provide specific details about the material you believe is infringing or is the subject of infringing activity, including enough information to allow us to locate the material within our Services, such as the URL of the link where it can be found.
- Contact Information: Please supply your postal address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
- Statement of Belief: Include the following statement in the body of the Notice: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as fair use).”
- Statement of Accuracy: “I declare that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or rights concerned in relation to the alleged infringement.”
- Signature: Please include your full legal name and your electronic or physical signature.
