Water 4 Mercy Becomes Official Apostolate of the Marian Fathers

Putting Divine Mercy into Action Through Clean Water, Nutritious Food, and Agricultural Education

Stockbridge, MA – April 21, 2025 –A milestone moment of faith and impact will be announced during Divine Mercy Weekend, April 26 & 27, 2025, at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA:

Water 4 Mercy is now recognized as an official Apostolate of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception.

Founded in 1673, the Marian Fathers are known for their devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, their global promotion of the Divine Mercy message, and their compassionate service through prayer, teaching, and missionary work. The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy is their U.S. home and spiritual hub.

Now, through this historic partnership, the Marian Fathers and Water 4 Mercy unite to embody Divine Mercy in action—delivering clean water, nutritious food, and sustainable agricultural education to communities in need across Africa. This joint mission brings faith to life through tangible works of mercy, restoring dignity and hope where it’s needed most.

Weekend Highlights

Saturday, April 26, 2025

  • Morning Talk with Nermine Khouzam Rubin, Founder & CEO of Water 4 Mercy, for 300 dedicated Marian Helpers on the mission’s transformative work in Africa.

Sunday, April 27, 2025

  • LIVE on EWTN (12:00–1:00 PM): Nermine will be interviewed by Fr. Joe Roesch, MIC, and Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, joined by Fr. Mark Baron, MIC. They will share inspiring stories from Water 4 Mercy’s recent service trip to Tanzania with students from Clearwater Central Catholic High School (CCCHS).

  • Divine Mercy Sunday Mass (1:00 PM): Celebrated by Fr. Don Calloway, MIC.

  • Main Address: Nermine will speak to an estimated crowd of 15,000 pilgrims about how Water 4 Mercy is putting faith into action.
